The launcher that installs the native client.
Horizon launcher is its own app. It installs the Rust client, prepares it from your 26.3, and keeps one Nightly for everyone.
Get launcher 0.2.44 from the download page. After the first run it checks for updates every 30 minutes.
- Play, Versions, Patch notes. One Nightly, plus numbered releases on Versions.
- Prepare from your 26.3 install. It reads local files instead of hosting Minecraft.
- Mods from Modrinth for what Horizon can carry. Modpacks from Mrpack and CurseForge zip.
- Servers: create, start, back up, invite friends.
- Ordinary Java instances if the account owns the game.
horizon-ctl drives the game as JSON. The launcher has its own CLI and MCP tools. First run: install.
